About Koruteq

Koruteq was established by an experienced travel industry executive and a senior systems engineer. The two of them had worked together at a leading NZ tourism business and experienced the challenges and frustrations many businesses face when it comes to IT. The business had a never ending list of IT requirements, but not enough bandwidth or, in some cases, capability to deliver at the speed that the business required. Hiring more locally based engineers was not an option as the cost was prohibitive and there was a general nervousness about simply sourcing resource directly from India or the Philippines. Recognizing that many growing businesses experience the same issue, the pair began to explore the possibility of developing a service offering to address this wide spread problem. Could they establish a business that provided the reassurance of local client management, whilst accessing the cost benefits and expertise of offshore development talent? After testing the service proposition with a small number of friendly clients, and receiving excellent feedback, the pair made the decision to scale up the offering and Koruteq was launched. Koruteq now partners with a growing number of travel, tourism, transport, logistics and related businesses in Australia, New Zealand, the US and UK.
