About Kotis Properties
Since the 1930’s the Kotis family has been involved in the restaurant business. Their first concept, Manuel’s, was a landmark fine dining restaurant located in the heart of downtown Greensboro. In 1957, William Kotis Jr., (Bill), built a restaurant and discovered building restaurants was more rewarding than running restaurants and founded Kotis Properties, Inc. Bill’s life work has been building that one restaurant into a portfolio of landmark buildings throughout the Southeast. Kotis Properties, Inc. is locally founded, and family owned since 1958 and is considered a premier commercial real estate development company based in Greensboro, North Carolina. One of the largest retail developers in the NC Triad with properties throughout the Carolinas, Kotis Properties, Inc. has a retail focus and specializes in office and industrial real estate. We take a long-term approach to development because we believe in building relationships, not just real estate.
