한국프로골프협회(Korea Professional Golfers' Association, KPGA)는 한국프로골프의 발전을 위해 프로골퍼의 자질과 기술향상을 도모하여 국제경기에 적극 참여함으로써 국제친선에 기여하고 국위를 선양하기 위한 목적으로 1968년 설립되었습니다. 2007년 4월 한국프로골프협회에서 설립하여 운영 중인 한국프로골프투어(Korea Professional Golf Tour, KGT)는 현재 KPGA 코리안투어(KPGA Korean Tour)로 대표되는 한국남자프로골프대회의 주관단체입니다. 세계 5대 프로골프 메이저 투어를 목표로 매년 50여 개, 총 상금 200억 원 이상의 대회를 개최하고 있는 KPGA 코리안투어는 '함께 하는 KPGA', '다이나믹 Korean Tour' 라는 슬로건 아래 팬들과 함께 역동적인 대회를 만들어 나가는 것에 역점을 두고 있습니다. Korea Professional Golfers' Association(KPGA) was founded in 1968 with the purpose of developing Korean professional golf. In accordance with this purpose, we support professional golfers to improve their talents and technic and actively participate in international games to contribute to a better international friendship and higher national prestige. Korea Professional Golf Tour(KGT), established by KPGA in April 2007, hosts Korean professional golf games, represented by KPGA Korean Tour. KPGA Korean Tour, aiming for world number 5 professional golf major tours, is hosting 50 games each year and 16 billion won in total prize. Under the slogan of ‘Together KPGA’, ‘Dynamic Korean Tour’, KPGA Korean Tour puts best effort on making dynamic games with our fans.
