Founded in 2012, the Kwantlen Polytechnic University Marketing Association (KPUMA) is a non-profit, student organized and governed club that gives real world opportunities to increase interpersonal, management, teamwork and leadership skills. The club organizes events that help link students with the industry, opening doors for future career advancement. These events allow KPUMA members direct access to a pool of industry professionals. The KPUMA is partnered with AIM (Association of Integrated Markers) which is the official BC chapter of the Canadian Marketing Association (CMA). AIM promotes ethical and effective marketing in BC by providing members with the education and networking support they need to succeed. This partnership provides KPUMA members an exclusive membership to AIM and AIM content that includes keynote speeches, articles and job/ volunteer postings.
