About KRITIKOS

We are all about developing the skills that define genuine, human intelligence. Specialists in teaching and testing higher order thinking skills such as critical thinking, logical and analytical thinking, and creative problem solving, our trainings are unique in the way we align analytical skills with emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills. The idea is to provide a way of developing thinking skills that is in tune with real people and the real world context they operate in. The result is that you not only learn to think more clearly and confidently as an individual, but to share your thinking more effectively with others. What this means is that you are able to strengthen the most valuable resource any group or organisation possesses: its collective intelligence. Our approach is the product of over 20 years writing and designing high stakes aptitude tests, as well as face to face teaching and training in higher order thinking. Our Founder, Joe Chislett, has also worked on initiatives to prevent violent extremism, help the general public to assess claims regarding health and medicine, has co-authored textbooks and published papers in Nature magazine on critical thinking, is an experienced teacher and teaching coach, and has taught creative writing as well as Philosophy and Drama. He also runs poetry workshops in schools.
