About KRmovie
In 2004 Katia Bernardi and Rodolfo Concer founded the production company KR MOVIE, and created the second series of the television programme STORIE DELL’ARTE (art stories) on the masters of contemporary art: Schifano, Accardi, Melotti, Afro, Rotella; the programme was selected at the ROMARTDOCFEST and the Brixenartfest in Bressanone. In July 2005 the company made ZUM TODE (to death), a documentary on the Resistance movement in Trentino, featuring Arnoldo Foà. The documentary was made in collaboration with the Autonomous Province of Trento and with the Memory Project of the History Museum of Trento. It was selected at the Trentofilmfestival and at the Kathmandu International Mountain FilmFestival, 2007 The company made the documentary SIDELKI (caregivers) on the situation of the Russian caregivers in Italy, produced by the Culture Department of Trento (2007) Selected at the Sguardi Altrove Festival in Milan. In 2007 the company made the third series of the television programme “STORIE DELL’ARTE - cinque personaggi in cerca d’artista” (art stories - five characters in search of an artist), (Manet, Van Gogh, Magritte, Picasso, Pollock). Selected at the Bergamo International Festival of Art Documentaries and the VAM fest in Vercelli. The company made the television programme MANIFESTA 7, a magazine which takes a closer look at this major European contemporary art festival. The television programme was produced by the Culture Department of the Autonomous Province of Trento (it can be seen on the contemporary art portal www.undo.net, July 2008) Katia Bernardi wrote and directed, together with Luca Bergamaschi, the film-documentary: Giannantonio Manci, una vita da non archiviare (Gianantonio Manci: a life to remember), produced by the Culture Department of Trento and the Trentino History Museum Foundation, 2008.
