Kronicle is a personal information management platform which facilitates and streamlines information sharing both during life and after major life events. It serves as the Personal Operating System for its users, making today easier and tomorrow more secure. There are three major life events which impact an individual, but which require input from third parties, most commonly family or friends, and in implementing often require decisions to be made on that individual’s behalf without them being present. These are: entry into aged or other facilitated care, incapacitation and death. Individuals commonly have preferences, wishes and expectations regarding what will occur, and how these events will transpire, however unless the third parties responsible for co-ordinating these events are informed of these preferences, wishes and expectations ahead of the event, it is challenging for them to fulfil their loved one's expectations. The Kronicle Platform provides a new solution to these challenges that fits seamlessly into a user's lifestyle. It allows its users to retake control by providing structured access to their personal information in ways which create utility and allow for functions and tasks to be completed by those who are best placed to undertake them. Information sharing is facilitated through granular delegated access, removing the stress and burden of searching for details during highly emotional and deeply personal events.
