We’re KTF – working alongside people and communities in Papua New Guinea to improve lives, livelihoods and futures. For over 20 years, we’ve partnered with communities, local leaders, and government to deliver practical, lasting development programs in education, health, equality, and leadership. With 85% of our team Papua New Guinean, our work is grounded in local knowledge and driven by genuine collaboration. Together, we train high-quality teachers and community health workers, provide ongoing professional development, and support their work through resourcing. We build and maintain schools, aid posts, and essential infrastructure to ensure services are accessible and sustained. In off-grid communities, we install solar energy and lighting systems to power education and healthcare projects. We champion equality - advocating for gender equity, promoting respectful relationships, and creating safe spaces for young people to lead change through the joy and connection of sport. We’re also investing in the future, finding and fostering PNG’s next generation of leaders as they rise to shape their communities and country. Our programs span our 'home' in Oro Province, as well as Central, Western, New Ireland, and the National Capital District. Through it all, we remain committed to keeping the friendship between Australia and Papua New Guinea - and the spirit of Kokoda - alive.
