About KTH School of Architecture
The school, founded in 1877 and at its current location since 1970, has a well-equipped workshop, a digital fabrication lab and an architecture library with a large collection of books and journals. In total there are around 600 students in the professional programs, 80 teachers and researchers, and 25 other staff. KTH is the largest technical university in Sweden. Education and research cover a broad spectrum within natural sciences and engineering, as well as architecture, industrial engineering and management, urban planning, work science and environmental engineering. There are circa 12,000 full-year undergraduate students, 1,400 postgraduate students and 3,100 employees. The School of Architecture and Built Environment focuses on future of our societies, on how our cities, buildings and infrastructure should be designed. We study growth, technology and environment, as well as ethical considerations and risks. Our curriculum and our research are based on several academic disciplines: engineering and the technical sciences, the humanities, and the social sciences. The School of Architecture is one of seven departments within the School of Architecture and the Built Environment and divides into four operative and executive divisions: Bachelor Level Master Level Research and PhD Level Outreach and Electives
