Kukkolaforsen is located just on the border between Sweden and Finland. Activities will take place on both sides of the border in Lapland. The only thing separating us from our neighbouring country, Finland, is the Torne River. Our company is focused on the traditions of Torne River Valley. According to those traditions, sauna is very important in the everyday life. Therefore, we have 15 saunas in the area. The sauna village is also home to the Swedish Sauna Academy. The food we serve has a special combination of Swedish and Finnish food traditions. It is locally produced and always varied with seasons. The specialty from the Kukkola village is the whitefish and we combine salmon, reindeer and other local food to create the best possible food experience.
