About Kun Tao Combatives
Kun Tao Combatives™ (KTC) is one of the World's leading systems of quick and effective self-defense/survival techniques that will get you out of a dangerous situation with minimal injury. Nothing pretty, nothing fancy...Just real! KTC is close-quarter combat survival and situational based training for anyone who wants to be ready, really ready, for the unthinkable! It is not meant to subdue an assailant or criminal. KTC teaches what is necessary to live, both physically and mentally, when no one else is around. Since the early 1960's the unique martial art of "Kun Tao" was taught throughout the New England area of the United States by the late Grand Master Joseph Rossi. As with many other combative arts, Kun Tao was integrated into security, law enforcement and military training (Rossi Kun Tao actually has it's roots in close-quarter hand-to-hand military operations). With roots in real-life hand-to-hand combat, KTC has been further honed by research and real life experience. KTC's systematic approach to un-armed, armed, and multiple attacker close-quarter combat situations follows the law of parsimony making it the perfect system for anyone who is looking for personal security, or the self-defense/security professional who has the best interests of their clients in mind.
