Established in 2020, the gallery is thoughtfully curated by director and owner, Kiersten Wilcox. Located in Lower Village, Kennebunk, in close proximity to the historic Dock Square, the heart of Kennebunk's vibrant shopping and arts district. Kiersten Wilcox, originally from Southport, CT, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to KW Contemporary Art. Holding a BA in Art History from Bucknell University and a Masters in Arts Administration from Savannah College of Art and Design, Wilcox has cultivated a successful career in the art world. In 2011, she relocated to Jackson Hole, WY, where she flourished as an art consultant, assisting clients from around the world in acquiring captivating artworks for their homes and collections. In 2019, Wilcox made the decision to embark on a new chapter and moved to Kennebunkport, ME, where she established KW Contemporary Art. Wilcox's dedication to the arts extends beyond her professional endeavors. She generously volunteered her time as the President of the Jackson Hole Gallery Association and served as a board member for the esteemed Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival. She has also sat on the board for River Tree Arts in Kennebunk and was a member of their gallery committe. At KW Contemporary Art, we are committed to providing a platform for artists to showcase their talent and creativity.
