About Kyungdong University Global (KDU Global)
Founded in 1981, Kyungdong University (KDU) has emerged as one of the leading universities nurturing professionals in demand both in Korea and abroad. Currently close to eight thousand students are enrolled at KDU’s three campuses throughout the country – Global Campus in Goseong-gun (Gangwon-do), Metropole Campus in Yangju-si (Gyeonggi-do), and Medical Campus in Wonju-si (Gangwon-do). Since 2015, KDU Global has been offering various undergraduate degree programs in English and Korean as well as language and vocational training courses for over 1,000 international students at the Global campus. All undergraduate curriculums incorporate five concurrent major-specialization tracks and liberal education courses aimed at enhancing language, intrapersonal and interpersonal skills of students. KDU Global has established academic collaborations with over 50 partner universities around the world within Global Student Mobility Project (GSMP) GSMP member institutions practice common curriculums and academic mechanisms that are constantly enhanced and updated through collaborative efforts and a united expertise! The key objectives of the GSMP network include: Establishing and networking Global Academic Collaboration Centers worldwide Implementing a common academic and operational platform within the network. Ensuring equity, transparency, and accountability for all partners. Delivering constant improvement of all academic practices through collaborative-efforts by the partner-institutions. Enabling students to be globally mobile to seize opportunities and experiences to enhance the competencies tailored to their individual needs and career plans.
