About Kyusho Jitsu South Africa
Kyusho Jitsu South Africa is an organization interested with promoting the study and the true understanding of 'Body, Mind and Spirit' in the Martial Arts. Martial Arts have become so commercialized with the primary focus being only on the development of the body. The mind and spirit is not understood and therefore neglected. Kyusho Jitsu South Africa seeks to promote all high end and advanced aspects of the Arts through the study of various disciplines and studies. This includes mainly but not exclusively the study of the pressure point and energy Arts of Kyusho Jitsu/Dim Mak and Aiki together with various forms of meditation, philosophical and spiritual studies. It is only through an in depth understanding of the 'mind, body & spirit' connection in the Arts that true mastery of self and of the Martial Arts are possible. Kyusho Jitsu South Africa was founded by André Dippenaar in 2004 and pioneered Kyusho Jitsu in this country, being the first organisation in South Africa (and Africa) to openly teach and study the Art of Kyusho Jitsu. Kyusho Jitsu South Africa is a network of friends and likeminded martial artists that study the ancient Arts together and are commited to the teaching of the pressure point arts in South Africa and the greater African continent.
