We are problem solvers and bridge builders drawing on a lifetime of experience in creating immersive site environments. Launched in 2001, L.A. Design Associates has built a practice in the face of change. We see the world around us as a dynamic system of interactions and relationships where we can contribute in meaningful ways through design. We make spaces for people. Our process is collaborative and our approach – synergistic. From Master Planning through subsequent phases of design and construction, we work closely with Clients, Owners and their design teams to optimize value and comfort, safety, sustainability and timeliness. We listen closely, anticipate needs and are proactive. We have learned to expect the unexpected, to be both flexible and resilient and to always bring something of value to the table. Always. Area Development and Show Set We cut our teeth in themed Landscape Architecture, a holistic design industry specialty otherwise known as Area Development. We additionally feature a fully integrated Show Set department furthering our themed design services. Both are highly specialized industries revolving around theme parks and attractions, resorts and museums, and focus on immersive storytelling. We bring to the table a seasoned blend of creative and artistic development skills, out of the box technical problem solving, extensive knowledge of plants and materials worldwide, high production values, field art mastery and mountains of coordination, all to tell a story!
