About L.A.U.N.C.H for Life
L.A.U.N.C.H. for Life is an award-winning nonprofit that mentors young men who can benefit from positive male role models. We empower and enable the young men to "launch" into adulthood with resilience, compassion, and self-worth. The outcomes for young men without fathers or positive male role models are sobering - much higher mental health challenges and suicide rates, drug use, crime, school dropouts, and community disengagement. We aim to break the cycle. To break the cycle, we uniquely deliver a free group-based mentoring experience for boys ages 12–16+ blending fun, adventure, hands-on learning, brotherhood, leadership experiences, and personal growth. Our mentors show up with compassion and consistency, helping each young man build character, confidence, and a sense of belonging. More than a program, LAUNCH is a movement - built on the belief that every young man has a future worth fighting for, and potential they may not yet see in themselves.
