Fondée en 1974 par Lina Vachon, Josette Déchène et feu Paul Vachon, L'Aubergine est parmi les premières compagnies enfance jeunesse au Canada et la plus vieille de la région de Québec. Elle s’est taillé une place originale en cultivant une vision artistique spécifique alliant le jeu clownesque, les arts du cirque et la musique.
