Located within easy reach of the capital town of Connemara, ie. Clifden just 4 Kilometers, yet in such an isolated and tranquil setting as to offer the perfect chill out experience. We also have on our boundaries our very own fresh water river which offers the fishing enthusiast the perfect challenge, Trout and the occasional Salmon can be fished for. Licence needed for Salmon !! Fishing rods supplied so do have a go. Quality shopping and dining out is within easy reach in Clifden town. Restaurants with acclaimed status abound in the town together with all services. There is an abundance of outdoor activities for visitors to enjoy in and about Clifden. The list is quite extensive and our website gives some detail. Dining in at "Cuach Cottage" is an experience to behold. The cottage is fitted out with the most modern of appliances so lots of room for budding enthusiastic chefs !! The cottage stands on 4 acres of Connemara terrain with the 12 Ben Mountains forming the backdrop from the Northern elevation. Just spectacular in any weather condition. The cottage grounds are set out in Paddocks, where sheep and Connemara ponies graze. There is lots of private parking and al fresco dining.
