LPOL is an independent British design brand specialising in made-to-last leather (and upcycled) handbags, totes, rucksacks, work bags and accessories. Founded in 2009 by British textile and product designer, Katy Maskell Bell, LPOL is passionate about considered design, responsible material sourcing, the employment of local craft skills and zero-waste methods. Our design studio is located in East Sussex and our collections are made by hand in dedicated London and Kent workshops by local, skilled artisans. We're proud to design and craft bags to be worn by fashion-conscious and environmentally aware shoppers around the World. Since 2009, we have set out to challenge the culture of fleeting trends and disposable design, to design and craft bags that are responsibly sourced and made to last. We are fortunate to work with the best new and established fabric and leather merchants in the UK and Europe, meaning we're able to source the finest natural materials that represent unrivalled quality, durability, texture and character; the perfect foundations from which to design bags that will be worn, loved and treasured for years to come.
