Adjacent to the historic Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and main beach, La Bahia Hotel and Spa is a 155-room, 225,000 square foot luxury hotel that boast unobstructed views of the beach, Monterey Bay and the Pacific Ocean beyond. It offer a full repertoire of amenities including a casual street front bar and restaurant and a chef-inspired restaurant for special occasions; a spa, elevated swimming pool, fire pits, an upper-level event deck, and banquet and event ballroom spaces. The property has been a familiar landmark on Santa Cruz’s famed beachfront for nearly a century. Originally conceived as apartments in 1926, its storied Spanish Mediterranean palette captured the enchantment of its heyday. The new hotel design incorporates the property’s architecturally distinctive historic bell tower into a contemporary reinterpretation of the Spanish Colonial Revival style of architecture.
