Nata nel 1959 originariamente con il nome Cantina Cooperativa della Riforma Fondiaria ACLI, La Cantina di Andria "Vignuolo" ha il rinnovato obiettivo di produrre e promuovere vini IGP, DOC e DOCG da vitigni autoctoni - Nero di Troia e il Bombino nero - tipici della zona di Andria attorno a Castel del Monte, in Puglia. Le colline murgiane sono ben esposte al sole e vicine al mare e, quindi, area di coltura privilegiata della vite per le temperature sempre miti, le escursioni termiche ottimali e il clima asciutto e poco piovoso. In questi luoghi si attiva la preziosa sinergia uomo-terreno - vite, nel segno del recupero e dello sviluppo consapevole del terroir, valore indispensabile per esaltare le caratteristiche distintive dei nostri vini. Dal 2015 la cantina ha lanciato la sua linea biologica (rosso, rosato e bianco) e sta focalizzando l'attenzione sull'incremento di produzione basata su questo standard. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Founded in 1959 originally under the name Cantina Cooperativa della Riforma Fondiaria ACLI, La Cantina di Andria "Vignuolo" has the renewed objective of producing and promoting IGP, DOC and DOCG wines from native vines - e.g. Nero di Troia, Bombino Nero and Bombino BIanco - typical of the Andria area around Castel del Monte, in Puglia. The Murgian hills are well exposed to the sun and close to the sea and, therefore, a privileged area of vine cultivation due to the ever mild temperatures, the optimal temperature ranges and the dry and slightly rainy climate. In these places the precious synergy between man - soil - vines is activated, in the sign of the recovery and the conscious development of the terroir, an essential value to enhance the distinctive characteristics of our wines.Since 2015 the winery has launched its organic line (red, rosè and white) .
