About La Fabrique St-george Winery

We are a winery located in the heart of Mount Pleasant, with a lounge for you to enjoy our wines made on site. We make our wines in qvevri, an ancient style of clay amphora- and we think you'll love them. Our grapes are hand picked in BC from the best fruit we can find (and it's pretty amazing if we do say so ourselves), foot stomped and allowed to ferment with only naturally occurring yeasts. We believe the best wine is made when you take the best farmed grapes, and interfere as little as possible. Call us grape babysitters. We have an exciting rotating roster of fabulous entertainment such as jazz bands, DJs and concerts, please check our events page for a list of upcoming events. The newest addition to our space is Buvette St-George, you'll see it right when you enter the building at 7 E 7th Ave. It is a standing bar area, and we will serve you wine by glass straight from the qvevri. There are also growler fills available, so bring your growler down, or pick up a glass bottle & cork from us ($1/pc). We are also offering small bites and prepared foods at BSG, available at BSG or to bring into FSG with you. BSG is currently open Fri/Sat evenings and during ticketed events at FSG. All our food at FSG is market style, you can pick up a shopping basket and walk around the market selecting your favourite charcuterie items. Bring your items up to the counter, and settle in at your table with cutting boards, cutlery, plates & everything you need for a little indoor picnic. We offer reservations, but also encourage walk-in dining and leave the majority of our seating for this.
