A Collective Mystery School As humans, Death is silently woven into our every breath. Informing our work in the world. Shaping the ways that we love. Weaving in and out of our art and music. Death is always guiding us, towards the creative muse, into grief, through the eternal cycles of rebirth. Death underpins everything beautiful and sacred around us - and when we learn to work with its mysteries, we begin to cultivate reciprocal relationships, shed old stories, and embody something much larger, much stranger, and much more beautiful than we ever imagined we were. A Temple of Learning We host a variety of online and in-person programs and events at La Mort. Our workshops, courses, collective work, and immersions are collaborative spaces for exploring the connection between death, culture, and spirituality. Everything we do is rooted in participatory, care-based community and ceremony, offering a threefold approach—head, heart, & hands—to deep learning. A Portal to Wholeness We are new grievers and lifetime mourners. We are death doulas, funeral directors, and hospice nurses. We are photographers and visionary artists, poets and actors. We are listeners and witnesses. We are young and we are old, maidens, mothers, and crones. We are earth-keepers and culture-makers. We are innovators and entrepreneurs. We are mystics, witches, and seers. We are curious humans seeking wholeness. We are all scholars of one sort or another, and we are waiting for you.
