About La Ressourcerie Créative de Lyon
The Ressourcerie Créative de Lyon (RCL), is an innovative project currently being created. The objective of this project is to reduce waste in the territory and change current consumption trends by promoting the purchase of second-hand items and materials, lending, and sharing. This place will host: a chic second-hand shop, a space for receiving and sorting donations, a permanent place dedicated to participatory creation, upcycling and repair workshops, and a rental service for objects that we use very occasionally, such as a drill or champagne flutes for example. Thanks to this modern, clean and tidy store, we will reach an uninformed public, and thus, rehabilitate repair tendencies and the purchase of second hand items. The RCL will also be a place of life in the neighborhood, we will organise events, and promote social diversity and act against the isolation of vulnerable people, especially the elderly or migrants, who will be invited to participate in creative workshops and will be able to share their knowledge in an intergenerational and intercultural way.
