The LA Strong Comms Coalition (LASCC) is dedicated to supporting businesses by raising awareness, developing sustainable campaigns, and leveraging the collective’s communications expertise to help the community rebuild. What started as an idea to help a few friends impacted by the fires who were pivoting their businesses has turned into a coalition of communications professionals providing pro bono support for small businesses adversely affected by the Los Angeles fires. Founded by Jennifer Acree and Cassie Lawrence from JSA+Partners and Angela Alvarez from Zeno Group, LASCC is working with local businesses including PlayLab Beauty, Flour Pizzeria, This Girl Walks Into a Bar, Root & Petal Floral (formerly Palisades Flowers), Fable, Bonjour Fete, and more.
