Laara Swim is a Danish luxury swimwear brand based in Copenhagen, aiming to design and develop highly durable, sustainable, and simple yet sophisticated bikinis and swimsuits, for brave an beautiful women around the world. Inspired by Danish and Nordic design symbols and processes, and working together with one of the most moden and innovative textile producers in Italy, not only can we provide simple and beautiful swimwear that is regorously tested against sun, sunlotion, chlorine, and salt, but also that will leave us with a cleaner ocean. In fact, most of our swimwear fabric is recycled from the fibers found in abandoned fishing nets in the oceans surrounding us. You can read more about the process here. We love the idea of taking responsibility for the world and nature surrounding us, to actively pursue new and more sustainable ways of doing fashion without compromising quality. Laara represent exactly these values, being brave enough to take a stand in the things that matters to her, brave enough to care about the world and nature surrounding her, but also expressing her natural beauty, as well as pursuing and exploring the beauty in the nature. Today, we easily get consumed into the digital world, we forget the real world around us and become observers instead of active participants. As much as Laara embrace all the opportunities and conveniences technology may provided, she lives and participate in the real world, she wants to experience the beauty in the world with all her senses, feel the excitement of going off track, feel the pleasure of finding that hidden beach oase, or feeling the smiles from people in smaller cummunities.
