About LABA Valencia
is the first international campus of the prestigious Italian university of Art and Design LABA – Libera Accademia di Belle Arti, with 24 years of history and 2,500 students enrolled each year. It opened its doors in Spain in the academic year 2021/2022, with the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Digital media HND in Graphic and digital design and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Photography HND in Photography and video, two of the areas with the greatest employment prospects in the field of creative industries, together with the International Master in Multimedia Creation for Live Shows. The 2nd edition culminated this June, with the edition of MICME. Interactive Art Festival, open to the public. The Master’s students occupied LABA Valencia with installations and events around interactive art: light art, video mapping, interactivity and sound art. At the end of January 2024 we will start the 2on edition of the MA of Arts in Photography, which allows students to work in collaboration with publishers and agencies of global prestige: SCHÖN! Magazine, the international agency Magnum Photos, among many others. With a clear international vocation – 70% of the student body is international – and a strong market orientation, it is committed to sectors where art and technology converge, the professional future together with personal expression. Classes with first class teachers and constant stimuli await you. LABA Valencia hosts numerous exhibitions and events and collaborates with national and international festivals and projects: the exhibition Miradas y recorridos íntimos which could be visited at Las Naves, as part of the 10 Sentidos Festival, with a selection of works by students from all degrees and MA’s, Designers of the Univers, Augmented Worlds, SMTH ART or the BlablaNights cycle on design, technology and new media.
