LAF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in the United States, committed to advancing animal welfare across Colombia, Peru, and Venezuela. Through strategic partnerships with veterinarians and non-profit organizations in these regions, we work to improve the lives of stray animals and pets belonging to low-income families by providing essential medical care, including spay and neuter programs, which are critical in controlling overpopulation and preventing suffering. Beyond veterinary services, LAF is dedicated to supporting animal shelters that receive no government funding. Many of these shelters struggle with a lack of resources, leaving countless animals vulnerable.
