About Lafayette's Wines

Like our winemakers we are independent and committed to providing a friendly but professional experience to you the wine lover. Our vision is to make these fabulous wines accessible to you and to bring you as much pleasure drinking them as we have sourcing them and meeting the marvellous people that create them. It's unfortunate but some winemakers have taken the easy route and compromised producing cheap tasting wines and not always at cheap prices. Wines without originality, where so often the natural process has been interrupted by over concentrating, by artificial flavourings being added and by the wine being filtered time and again. Thankfully the good news is there are still some hardworking men and women for whom winemaking is a “labour of love”. With skills passed down over generations and a respect for tradition, allied to a love and passion for wine. They produce remarkable wines with individuality, each with their own signature and identity. These are proud people who won't compromise their past for their future and produce Real Wines.
