Lakeside Neurologic TLF, LLC, a private, for-profit, post-acute residential rehabilitation community, in central west Florida. Specializing in the treatment of Adults and Pediatrics with traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries, as well as other neurological impairments. Treatment programs include- Intensive Rehabilitation Therapy- (15+ hours p/week of PT, OT, SLP Therapy) with the goal to restore physical, cognitive, and emotional function to improve independence. Supported Living- Enriching quality of life by providing a homelike environment with access to vocational, educational, and recreational opportunities while receiving supervision and assistance that may be required. Community Integration- Providing a bridge between post-acute rehab and the community, utilizing real world settings to teach and apply skills to live and work successfully in the community. Mission Statement- Lakeside Neurologic provides the highest quality of services and treatment for survivors of neurological injuries and disorders. We strive to assist residents to obtain their maximum level of functioning and quality of life in the most normalized and least restrictive environment. Our Adult and Pediatric programs are developed with the goals of both residents and families in mind. We feel that education is a core component of rehabilitative treatment and strive to provide residents and families with tools that they can use upon discharge.
