About Lakewood Farm

Lakewood Farm is located in upstate South Carolina. We raise Arabians and Half-Arabians (Pintos, Quarter & Thoroughbred). We feel we're blessed to be able to take care of one of Gods most magnificent creatures. We have been breeding Foundation Arabs for over 20 years and come to love the bred. In 1994 we started putting a little color in that class by crossing Arabians and Paints. This has proven to be quite a cross. Class with color. We now have 7 stallions standing at stud. As you will see our Arabians are more of the "stocky" type. We bred for confirmation, companionship and temperament. Color is an added plus to it all! Many of our horses have already proven themselves in show, endurance and in the working world . We are listed in the Arabian Horse Directory and a Mentor through the Registry. Our main purpose is breeding but we also board , have horses for sale and help place horses in good homes. When you love your horse you don't want to see it "run through" a sale barn. We try to give people a peace of mind that their horse is going to a HOME. If we can help you please contact us, we do not mind connecting people.
