About LampPost Social
LampPost Victoria was started with the dream of reducing barriers to finding events & shifting away from online worlds to meaningful, person connections in the physical community. This started out as a newsletter compiling all the events in Victoria, a simple way to connect with people in our hometown of Victoria, BC and improve on fragmented solutions that already existed in the events space. Our message resonated with the community, and now we're building on that mission by hosting Cohorts - a new way to build connections and make friends. In a world that's gone digital, in a Victoria that's become increasingly hard to build community in, we are starting the shift back towards meaningful relationships, experiences, and third places.
