About Lancer Media Group
Lancer Media Group is a student-run multimedia organization at California Baptist University. LMG exists to give students practical and real-time journalism and public relations experience. We produce the Banner newspaper, Pursuit magazine, Angelos yearbook, Lancer PR Firm and CBU TV; all of which are available to over 10,000 students at CBU and the surrounding community. The Banner Newspaper: Our newspaper publishes in print biweekly for a total of 12 issues each school year. The Banner staff regularly reports on news, lifestyle trends, sports, business & tech, and arts & entertainment topics relevant to students at CBU and the surrounding community. All of our stories are also available at cbubanner.com. Pursuit Magazine: Our magazine publishes three times each school year for a fall, winter and spring issue. Pursuit often covers stories in the areas of lifestyle, travel, trends, relationships, and arts. View all of our Pursuit magazines online at issuu.com/jatcbu. Angelos Yearbook: Our yearbook is an annual tradition at CBU that focuses on being a historical reference to CBU life, traditions, experience and advancement. Angelos yearbook prints in April of every academic school year and is available to traditional undergraduate students at CBU. CBU TV: This is our broadcast journalism publisher. The staff at CBU TV produce shows throughout Fall and Spring semester showcasing CBU students and relevant stories in the community.
