Land & Power combines years of groundworks expertise and a team of professional electrical installers to provide trusted services to clients, on a standalone or interdisciplinary basis. Our integrated approach makes us ideally placed to deliver electrical installations with a groundworks element for the laying of cables, enabling us to offer full co-ordination across both disciplines along with joined-up accountability and communication. With a national reach, we operate as both a main contractor and a subcontractor, delivering projects across the UK on a huge variety of construction, civil engineering, energy and utilities sites. Amongst our specialisms is installation of the electrical infrastructure for renewable energy projects, which includes a number of wind farm and solar farm projects. We have carried out the groundworks for cable routes, the cable installation and the electrical connections on these projects, working closely with the client to co-ordinate works around their requirements. Our combined groundworks and electrical installation capabilities also make us the ideal choice for electric vehicle charging infrastructure installation. As the UK moves towards the target date of 2035 for a ban on new diesel and petrol cars, our ability to carry out a complete installation for vehicle charging is increasingly in demand. Our GPS-controlled equipment means that we can route the electrical infrastructure around existing buried services, increasing efficiency during the groundworks process and mitigating the risk of striking existing services.
