About Land of Learning

The Land of Learning Childcare Center evolved from a local home childcare. The Center was created from the ground up and was opened in August 2004 by owners Jami and Hung Nguyen. Jami Lawson-Nguyen, owner and Chelon Stroyan-Benson are the co-directors of The Land of Learning. They hold degrees in Early Childhood and Special Education. Jami and Chelon were born and raised in DeKalb and have been life long friends. They are passionate about serving young children within our local communities. *The Land of Learning Childcare Center is licensed by the Department of Children and Family Services. We are a member of Community Coordinated Child Care (4-C). We offer quality childcare to children ages 6 weeks to twelve years.
