About Langley Events Centre

Since opening in 2009, the Langley Events Centre (LEC) has continued to offer a growing number of events and services for Township of Langley residents and visitors to enjoy. A review of the events hosted at the LEC is very impressive, and the number of groups and organizations that host and re-locate their events to Langley continues to expand. The focus for staff is on these partner organizations and their participants and spectators, with the customer service goals for the LEC including the desire for everyone to leave having had a unique and satisfying experience during their visit. As a facility, the Langley Events Centre is 322,312 square feet, which includes an Arena Bowl, Triple Gymnasium, Double Gymnasium, Fieldhouse, Banquet Hall, Gymnastics Training Facility, Fitness and Community Centre, Meeting Spaces, Offices and Leased Spaces in addition to many supporting functional areas. The LEC is home to the Vancouver Giants of the Western Hockey League, Trinity Western University Athletics Basketball and Volleyball, the Langley Thunder of the Western Lacrosse Association, and the Langley Junior Thunder of the BC Junior A Lacrosse League. Many organizations call the LEC home including Basketball BC, Langley Sports Medicine Clinic, KidSport Langley, MLA Rich Coleman, the Langley Gymnastics Foundation, the Fraser Valley Italo-Canadian Society, Jericho Ridge Community Church and the Willoughby Community Centre. Organizations that operate events and services from within the LEC include Tiara Food and Beverage Concepts, the Spartan Foundation and Pacific Sport Fraser Valley. ---
