LARGHEVEDUTE handmade wallpaper The ancient art of drawing and painting applied to wallpaper hand-painted on paper or cotton canvas. Larghevedute is based in Milan and manufactures exclusive decorations to make unique and personalized the environments you love the most. Thanks to more than 25 years of activity, Larghevedute boasts important collaborations, such as the historical one with the designer Versace of whom we have decorated boutiques and private villas. Each work is done totally and exclusively by hand: hands that work, draw and paint meticulously, moved by passion and profound knowledge of the material, with the elegant sensitivity typical of artistic mastery. We have started when the digital technology didn't exist: "The design work was done by hand, on the drawing board, it passed from the reproduction of the matrix performed on tracing paper to that performed on white paper. This thing is very important to notice because even in the heliographic reproduction there was a certain manual skill that diversified one heliotechnist from the other and the best was almost considered a true artist. With the transition from manual to digital in design, we have come to a depersonalization of the graphic expression and a distressing homologation ". Our designs, instead, are unique, often made freehand, and can be customized. The subjects, featuring both natural and abstract themes, are inspired by the old Italian drawing and painting tradition. Larghevedute re-discovers the beauty and uniqueness of handmade art. The collections of drawings, inspired by ancient decorative traditions, have been reinterpreted with Italian creativity and taste, producing elegant and sophisticated interior designs that can decorate contemporary spaces. Our goal is to bring the excellence of ancient craftsmanship into contemporary lifestyle through the merging of tradition and innovation.
