About Las Vegas Athletic Clubs
Las Vegas Athletic Clubs (LVAC) operates seven large athletic, fitness and family-oriented exercise facilities in Southern Nevada. LVAC is actively seeking additional locations in Las Vegas and has plans to expand the brand to other cities outside of Nevada. While LVAC was founded in 1977, Rudy Smith and Andy Palluck acquired the chain in 1991 and have been operating it ever since. From that day forward, LVAC began replacing older, less convenient locations with well-situated, world-class locations. In addition to traditional “health club” offerings, most Las Vegas Athletic Clubs include an expansive selection of first-rate amenities and services in a safe, clean and energetic setting. Amenities include indoor swimming pools and running tracks, racquetball/handball courts, LVAC Woman (women’s only training areas), personal training, free weights and machines, massive cardio entertainment areas, group fitness programming, child play centers and juice bars. Las Vegas Athletic Clubs enjoy unparalleled member loyalty due to the value of their membership offerings. LVAC’s goal is to be the best value in fitness. That is only one reason why Las Vegas Athletic Clubs has been voted “Best of Las Vegas” in the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s annual reader poll 17 times.
