About Laser Solutions
LSI was formed March 3, 1986 to deliver high-level technical and creative services in the new field of digital and desktop publishing. Earl was an early Apple Computer consultant and was sent into major organizations for pilot projects, presentations, and development. Once DTP was well-established LSI began developing custom database applications for managing the vital information of organizations. In 1988, Earl wrote ProGen, a custom proposal generating software that reduced the time to product the $25 million proposals from 64 man hours to 45 minutes. This was at a time of the introduction of digital central office switches that ushered in email and the World Wide Web. Northern Telecom broke sales and profit records when using this software in seven regions. Earl began the eTouch for Health software in 1988 and it first shipped in 2001 and is now being used in over 85 countries. Several of the custom software projects of the firm written for Turner Broadcasting Systems and the Delta Chi Fraternity Internation HQ were used for over 20 years with these firms. In 2010, Earl was awarded the international IKC John Thie Award for his work in research and advancing the natural alternative healthcare techniques. This was awarded at the Kyoto Medical College in Kyoto, Japan. During 2017-18, Earl developed a video-on-demand cloud-based training system that has students from around the world studying 365/24/7. Earl has also worked developing data visualizations and advanced videos. Earl has trained others in many advanced fields often using the classes he developed. During the early 1990s, Earl trained the aircraft documentation specialists of Delta Air Lines the basics of desktop publishing that helped the airline through a major crisis that threatened the airline's existence. Earl developed a custom database of the top 25,000 business leaders that the economic development department of the state of Georgia used for attracting new businesses and jobs
