About LaserPhilly
LaserPhilly is an independently owned gift shop and design studio where we craft and curate unusually clever giftable goods and provide quality custom laser cutting services for people and businesses. LaserPhilly seeks to create an inclusive creative ecosystem that demystifies the making process, democratizes customization and promotes the idea that shopping locally is the best way to find quality goods and gifts that are beautiful, clever and functional. We will do this, in part, by offering 3-month long pop-ups to other retail-focused makers and designers. We will give priority to those who represent groups who are traditionally marginalized to offer them retail space, training and experience in our brick and mortar shop where their goods are sold alongside our in-house brand. And, we'll offer community-based workshops where people learn traditional handmade techniques and how to use innovative technologies to create personalized keepsakes.
