About LASO Concordia
ABOUT: LASO (Latin American Student Organization) is a student run, apolitical, non-profit organization of Concordia University whose objectives are to bring together the Latin American students of Concordia University, introduce the Latin American culture to Concordia's community and establish a link between the Latin American students and the student body in general. MISSION AND HISTORY: The Latin American Student Organization is an organization dedicated to enhance the student life at Concordia University by hosting activities that are culturally oriented towards our Latin heritage. LASO is currently one of the eleven associations represented by the International Ethnic Association Council (IEAC), a non-political and non-religious umbrella association that believes in the importance of cultural education. For the past three decades, LASO has been uniting the Concordia Latin Community through as movie nights, Latin Culture Weekends, and wine and cheeses.
