Lassi & Spice is a modern Indian café located in Seattle, with (now) two locations in South Lake Union and Wallingford. We specialize in vegetarian, homestyle comfort food, lassis (Indian smoothies), Seattle's best chai, filter coffee, espresso, sweets and pastries. Lassi & Spice was born out of a cross-cultural love marriage and a lifelong passion for travel, coffee and snacking. We hope you fall in love, just like we did. Our menu centers around lassi - of course! - which are yogurt-based blended smoothies. Our lassi menu includes flavors like mango, pistachio, blueberry cardamom and rose. Another specialty is stovetop chai, made in the home style through simmering black tea leaves in milk, sugar and exotic spices. It's handcrafted, authentic, and never from concentrate. India's coffee culture is rich and largely unknown in the US....until now. Prepare to explore beans sourced from cloud-covered Indian hill stations, expertly roasted and brewed to perfection. Try traditional style South Indian Filter Coffee or enjoy our balanced, medium blend as brewed coffee. Lassi & Spice also offers specialty teas from Smith Teamaker, served hot or iced. We know Seattle LOVES its espresso! Your favorite latte will shine when it's made with Victrola Espresso, or with sweet and complex single origin Indian espresso beans. You will definitely find a new favorite as you taste your way through our hot and iced menu that features rich flavors like golden turmeric, bournvita, cardamom, honey, pistachio and ginger.
