Wij zijn een nieuw merk, een merk dat niet alleen kleding produceert, maar een levenswijze representeert. Lastique komt voort uit het Franse en Berbers woord ‘élastique’, wat in het Nederlands elastiek betekend. De betekenis achter deze woord is elastisch ofwel flexibiliteit. Hieruit is de volgende motto voortgekomen: ‘Be flexible to Survive’. Lastique staat voor het vormen naar je omgeving, net als water. Bruce Lee heeft dit goed uitgelegd: Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless — like water.
