For more than 170 years in family property is Laubscher Precision AG one of the oldest industrial company in Switzerland and started initially with production of machine tools for watch makers, but already before 1900 concentrated and specialized in machining of turned parts. Besides watch parts, Laubscher became world famous for steel gramophone needles, followed by compass points, parts for mechanical typewriters, calculating and accounting machines and in recent years specially remarkable for precise parts for medical industry.
