*Why we exist* Founded in 2017 by Director, Laurelle Brown, LBTC was born out of frustration with the longstanding issue of racialised children encountering various forms of bias and discrimination across the services and support systems they rely on, leading to adverse impacts on their development, well-being, and opportunities for future success. *How we make a difference* Our mission is clear: to collaborate with partners to develop equity, diversity and inclusion change across complex systems for children. Our approach entails tailoring content and delivery to audience needs. It is informed by three core elements: Anti-racism, Intersectionality & Systems thinking. Our work is delivered across four domains: • Drive tailored change and transformation for equity and inclusion across systems, leadership and practice for children. • Deliver learning and development to enhance knowledge and understanding of barriers and enablers to change, and capacity to mobilise progress. • Facilitate opportunities, processes, and events to listen, inspire, and reflect for the planning and delivery of change. • Collate, generate and disseminate evidence and insight to scale-up wider systems impact and learning. *The change we want to see* Our vision is a place where institutional and systemic barriers are entirely eradicated, allowing racialised children to experience outcomes that are just and on par with any other children.
