About Laurier Photography Club
Founded in early 2016, a few Laurier students came together and wondered why there wasn’t a photography club at Wilfrid Laurier University. This idea marked the birth of a new club, called Laurier Photography Club (LPC), and captured the attention of a rising generation who were passionate about photography. Their aim? To discover, transform and grow the world of photography. Our mission is to inspire passion, creativity and leadership among student photographers and their communities. Our vision at LPC is to grow the photography community at Wilfrid Laurier University and Kitchener-Waterloo. Together we will be empowered to share our passion for photography with the rest of the world. Our values encompass Leadership, Passion and Creativity – and that is what LPC stands for. We encourage taking the lead, being excited for what you love and expressing yourself in creative ways. We value co-creation and sharing, learning, togetherness and sustainability.
