About Lawn Summer Nights
Lawn Summer Nights is a lawn bowling fundraiser held cities across Canada, benefitting Cystic Fibrosis Canada. We have raised over $3,400,000 since the event began in Vancouver in 2009, growing the annual donation total year-on-year, along with the number of supporters who have engaged with the event and the cause. Our goal through Lawn Summer Nights is to continue the legacy Eva Markvoort and other friends who have been taken by CF, by changing things for those who still live with the disease so that they don’t meet the same fate. We do this by celebrating life, and striving to continually excite and engage our community of peers through distinctive fundraising, awareness and education initiatives. In 2019, Lawn Summer Nights events were held in Victoria, Vancouver, Tsawwassen, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Windsor, Chatham, Simcoe, London, Brantford, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Charlottetown, and Halifax.
