About Laytoe Structure

We established our structural engineering company in Canary Wharf where we were inspired by the exciting infrastructure and engineering developments around us. We wanted to take that innovation and expertise and share it with the rest of London. Laytoe works on domestic and commercial projects throughout London. From ceiling cracks in Crouch End to a bank in Bank, we apply the same diligent design and meticulous calculation principles to ensure your property remains structurally sound regardless of age, size or surroundings. Our structural engineers will visit your property and carry out a structural inspection of the issues that concern you most. If we find indications of structural impairment that you might not be aware of, we will draw your attention to this and highlight our observations in the reports we produce for you. We provide a full range of structural engineering services which include one-off beam calculations to more extensive alterations such as loft conversions and extensions. If you’ve been advised that you need the services of a structural engineer, we’re happy to answer your queries. Our structural engineering experience has given us plenty of opportunities to reflect on how we can share our passion and expertise with other people. One way is to share what we know with our clients so that they can make informed choices about the space that matters to them. We also think it’s important to encourage people to join our profession. That’s why we support an initiative that helps civil and structural engineering students to develop the skills they need in their careers. AMI (Academia Meets Industry) was launched by My Uni Tutors to provide meaningful work experience for civil engineering undergraduates; we would encourage other structural engineering companies to participate.
