We are an Aragonian family business specialized in preserved fruit. LAZAYA grows, processes and exports 🍒candied fruits and other preserved fruit from Spain to the whole world. Lazaya was born in 1940, although our ancestors had experience in fruit trees nurseries and fruit preservation before that date. THE CORE OF OUR BUSINESS The fruit of our own plantations is sent to the factory to be transformed into different sweet preparations. After being packed in several presentations, our excellent Aragonese fruit is shipped from Calatayud to dozens of countries all over the world. QUALITY CONTROL AND FOOD SAFETY CERTIFICATIONS ✔ Our processing is carried out according to the food quality and safety guidelines based on Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP). ✔ Lazaya has achieved several prestigious quality and food safety certifications: ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and IFS. ✔ We are proud to be founding members of the Spanish CNTA (National Center for Food Technology and Security), a leading quality and food safety center. ✔ Kosher and Halal certifications also grant our strong commitment to meet demands from all our clients. ✔ All Lazaya's products are suitable for celiacs, vegetarians and vegans, with only some exceptions due to food colourings. OUR QUALITY ENGAGEMENT AND ETHICAL CRITERIA Tha management of our business rests on strong ethical behavior guidelines.
