About LCiL

Leicestershire Centre for Integrated Living (LCiL) is a user led organisation ran by and for disabled people established 1997. With a proven track record of working for disabled people and promoting accessibility by breaking down barriers to employment and social inclusion. We aim to provide a peer-led, multi-service one-stop-shop for people with any form of disability living or working in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. During our long history Members and Volunteers have always formed the backbone of our organisation. It works to apply disabled people's own ideas and experience to developing services and public policies. It brings together community organisations, service users and carers to offer services that are based on the social model of disability and is aimed at promoting independence, social inclusion and equality. We aim to remove barriers, enabling all of our clients to live as independently as possible with the necessary support.
